Professor Sreenivasa Murthy graduated in internal medicine from the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, which is affiliated with the Rajiv Ghandi Health University, Bangalore, India. He specialises in diabetes research and has over 23.years of experience in medical consultation, healthcare advisory services, research and teaching. He is currently a Senior Consultant Physician, Diabetologist, Principal Investigator and Medical Director at Life Care Hospital and Research Centre, Bangalore.

Professor Sreenivasa Murthy has conducted over 85 multinational clinical trials, including involvement in SUSTAIN, SOUL SURMOUNT , ONWARDS , FLOW and many more. He has one of the few investigators in the country who has faced US FDA inspection twice successfully.He has presented at several international conferences including AACE, IDF and ISPOR.

Professor Sreenivasa Murthy has a professional diploma in clinical research and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, a Fellow of the Indian College of Physicians,Fellow of the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India and Fellow of American college of Physicians.

He is currently The Vice President of National RSSDI,   Governing council member of National API, Vice President of API KARNATAKA Governing Council Member KRSSDI,, CCDSI & Indian society of chronomedicine.
